Invivo & Co’s story began when the two of us – Rob and Tim – got together in a bar in London to talk wine. How to make it better. How to cut through the fluff that the traditional wine companies seem to love so much. We always believed in the power of a strong brand, so we decided then and there to build a business that let us create one and have fun along the way.

Invivo & Co is one of New Zealand’s leading producers – we have won over 250 medals and many trophies since we launched in 2008. We produce wine and have operations in New Zealand, Australia, Italy and France; and produce gin in Ireland with our local West Cork partners!

By focusing on our customers’ needs and on innovation, we have managed to grow our business rapidly. In 2015 we were New Zealand’s first equity crowdfunded wine company. After our second successful equity crowdfunding campaign in 2018, we are now one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest crowdfunded companies. We are based in one of New Zealand’s oldest wineries, where we continue to turn some of the world’s best grapes into wine that’s picking up fans from Cork to New York.

Traditional winemaking is all about the way things have always been done, cobweb-filled cellars and old guys talking about complex oak noses. We’re not about that. From the way we’ve funded our company to the way we tell our story to the world and the way we source our wine, Invivo is not your great-uncle’s winery. (Unless your great-uncle is one of our 600+ investors, in which case, Cheers, Unc!)

In 2014 we launched a Sauvignon Blanc with legendary TV megastar Graham Norton after we learned he was a fan of Sauvignon Blanc and our wine. This quickly expanded into a multiple-award winning range, which includes Rose, Prosecco, Shiraz, and Gin. Discover the range here.

In 2019 we launched a wine collaboration with New York icon Sarah Jessica Parker. Following months of discussions, time in New York and a wine tasting with Sarah Jessica, we launched the 2019 Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The wine has won a slew of awards and accolades. In June 2020 we launched the next release in the range: the Invivo X, SJP Rosé! From the South of France and tasting out-of-this-world. Check out these wines here.

It’s all part of our vision: We bring people together so great things can happen

Graham Norton’s Own Wines

Gidday, Tim from New Zealand here… do you reckon Graham would like to try some of our wine?” That cheeky phone call in 2011 led to TV talk show star Graham Norton not only putting his name to a range of Invivo wines, but personally blending them and owning shares in our company. Our collaboration with the international star and host of the UK’s number one chat show has been anything but the clichéd celebrity endorsement. Watch the latest blending video here.

We’re a few more vintages in now – and have produced over 10 million bottles – and Graham controls every aspect of the blending process. His best-selling (and awarded) SauviGNon Blanc has been joined by a South Australian Shiraz, New Zealand Rosé, Italian Prosecco and Rosé Prosecco– and now the Graham Norton Pink and Irish Dry GiNs are taking the Gin world by storm.

Graham’s wines have been awarded over 50 accolades, including: Gold at the Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters; twice Gold at the Sydney International Wine Competition; a Trophy at the UK People’s Choice Awards; 90 points from both Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator; chosen to be served in Qantas Business Class and selected for The Independent’s ‘Top Sauvignon Blancs’ in the UK.

Our Collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker

In 2019 Tim and Rob joined forces with New York Icon Sarah Jessica Parker to launch a new wine collaboration. The Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker range launched with a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, quickly followed by the Invivo X, SJP Rosé from the South Of France. These wines are receiving a multitude of awards around the globe and were included in the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 World’s Best Wines in just the first vintage! The wines in this collection are made to a unique blend, carefully created together by Sarah Jessica Parker and Invivo.

Giving back to the community is important to Invivo X, SJP, and we are proud to have partnered with FEED Projects to donate school meals around the world.

For our winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron, Invivo is about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into our amazing grapes, all the while offering vintages that are fun and a bit different to the rest.

Rob has a ‘colourful’ winemaking background, learning his craft in unique destinations such as Moldova, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving to romantic locations of France, Spain and Italy. He learnt skills (and some wild stories) from these places that few could compare.

Rob’s approach to winemaking combines old world elegance with the best grapes he can lay his hands on, from New Zealand and around the world. The result? Bloody good wine, that’s what.
